With the theme “Infrastructure for Prosperity: Building the Rails for Africa’s Credit Revolution,” Nexus 2025 brought together executives from commercial and microfinance banks, fintech innovators, regulators, technology partners and ecosystem builders. The conference explored how modern infrastructure, improved credit frameworks and collaborative innovation can unlock economic growth and expand financial inclusion across the continent.
A keynote address delivered by Mr. Baiyen (Roc), Managing Director, Huawei Cloud Business, Nigeria, highlighted the critical role of resilient cloud, security and local data residency in enabling the next phase of digital banking and responsible credit delivery. Participants also engaged in hands-on deep-dive sessions covering digital banking transformation, modern core banking, cloud infrastructure, compliance, payment scheme readiness and emerging models for responsible digital lending.

The conference further spotlighted ecosystem partnerships driving digital transformation across Africa.
